Clearinghouse Purpose:
To oversee the operations of the Clearinghouse, where individuals seeking assistance through Love INC can find assistance and support. This role involves listening with compassion, gathering information, discerning needs, and connecting individuals with the appropriate resources and volunteers from partner churches and organizations. Through every interaction, the coordinator demonstrates the love of Christ.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Train and supervise Intake Volunteers
2. Review information gathered by volunteers during the intake
3. Determine how to best resource neighbor needs
4. Maintain accurate neighbor records and computer data
5. Maintain accurate records for agency and community resources and maintain referral relationships
6. Maintain accurate records of church ministries and individual volunteer resources and maintain referral relationships with Love INC partner churches/ministries.
7. Conduct intakes as needed.

Gap Ministry Responsibilities

1. Cultivate and nurture relationships with current Gap ministries.  Oversee monitoring and evaluation of the ministry’s impact.
2. Effectively manage referral process with Gap ministries.
3. Develop new initiatives to fulfill the mission and vision of the organization as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in ministry, social work, customer service, or case management is helpful but not required.
• Comfortable using technology and data systems (training provided).
• Strong alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Love INC.
• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and beliefs in line with the Apostles’ Creed.
