“LOVE” Story

After experiencing a house fire in their apartment complex, Derek and Paula attended the May Faith & Finances class at Park Chapel, where they were paired with Jake as their classroom mentor. The couple gained practical budgeting skills to help better manage their money, make intentional spending decisions, and to work together toward greater financial stability.

Since completing the class, Derek has secured a maintenance job at the apartment complex where they live. They have also continued building their relationship with Jake and have begun attending church with him! Derek has a new sense of confidence and obligation to provide for his wife and children as a true man of God!

Their story reflects the power of practical financial education, ongoing mentorship, growing in faith, and discovering a renewed hope for their future. Now that’s Transformation!
