Park Chapel is hosting a seminar this Sunday for anyone who has a friend or loved one who has an addiction.
See the attached flyer- the tag line is “How to relate to the addict in your life.” Led by Brad Dobson, a licensed mental health and addiction specialist.
If you know of anyone who might be interested, please feel free to pass along.
We learned at the Banquet that many people were unaware of the home medical equipment lending closet gap ministry that is hosted by Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. We have walkers and crutches, a few wheelchairs and other miscellaneous items in inventory.
We are currently in need of bed side commodes and shower chairs.
Please contact the Love INC Clearinghouse (317) 468-6300 with any needs you have or if you would like to donate items.
Celebrate Recovery at Brandywine Community Church has moved to Thursday nights. If you are trying to deal with hurts, habits or hangups on your own give it a try this Thursday.
And on March 2nd the new Recovery Zone for Kids program starts!
In case you missed our Love Thy Neighbor dinner on Saturday, here is a great article b y Anne Smith of the Greenfield Daily Reporter about the presentation.
We have copies of Robert Lupton’s book, Toxic Charity, available in the office if you would like to purchase one.
We are hopeful this will stimulate an on-going conversation within the service community to examine the outcomes of our efforts.
