Love INC of Greater Hancock County has been blessed by this gap ministry for some time. The Give Back Clothing Ministry is housed at First Church of God in Greenfield (700 North Broadway). Carol Peyton and Ann Williams tag team to receive, sort, display and help our neighbors select clothing for their families. They give sacrificially to families in Hancock County and we appreciate all that they do.
Appointments are set through the Clearinghouse (317-468-6300). If you have gently used clothing to donate you can call the Clearinghouse for details. Men’s clothing is usually in short supply.
Recently they have partnered with our Transformational Ministry area to offer “Dress to Impress” – resource for those attending our Job Skills workshops to obtain interview-appropriate attire to make that great first impression. Referrals for this special treatment can be made through the Clearinghouse as well.
