“LOVE” Story

A young married couple with their sweet little girl attended the Faith & Finances class after being referred by a local church transitional housing ministry. They had never tracked their spending before and were surprised to see how much went toward “wants” rather than “needs.” Since then, they’ve started making positive changes — shopping at Aldi to save money, using the local food pantry, and cutting back on their streaming subscriptions. They’re grateful for the housing opportunity from the church ministry; and for the encouragement they receive from their mentor. They’re motivated to keep improving their finances, with hopes of getting a reliable car and finding a home of their own. Each step forward brings them closer to greater stability and the future they’ve always dreamed.
